SAMA Curved Cane Sofa

The whole design of SAMA lives in one move: the backrest does not stop at the corners, it keeps going, sweeping forward into the arms in a single unbroken curve. Horizontal rattan slats are laid across that curve at even intervals, so from the side the sofa reads as a series of fine lines, and from behind it throws a striped shadow onto the wall.

The frame itself is deliberately slim — twin rattan hoops at the base, a light apron, no bulk anywhere — which is why a piece that visually wraps around you still occupies only 175 cm. Ivory cushions sit inside the curve rather than on top of it, so the seat feels enclosed without feeling heavy.

This is the one for apartments where a three-seater would swallow the room, and for anyone who likes a mid-century line but wants it in cane rather than teak.
