TALA Fan-Back Rattan Bench

TALA is decoration first and seating second, and it is honest about that. The backrest is a fan: slim rattan loops springing from a narrow base and spreading upward into a peacock silhouette, each loop bent individually over a form and bound where it crosses its neighbour. Get it in front of a plain wall with a lamp beside it and the shadow it casts is half the reason to own it.

Underneath, the piece keeps a low bench profile — no arms, no bulk, just a taupe seat pad on a rattan platform with a small fan detail repeated at the legs. That openness is what lets it sit at the end of a bed without crowding the room, or in a hallway where anything deeper would be in the way.

It is not the sofa you sink into for three hours. It is the seat you perch on to put your shoes on, and the object your guests photograph.
