MASHRABIYA 3 Seater Rattan Sofa
Description
The name is borrowed from the carved wooden screens that shade old Cairene windows, and the reference is literal: both arms are filled with an open diamond lattice, each intersection woven and bound by hand. Where a solid arm would block a room, this one filters it — you see the wall, the floor and the daylight through the pattern, which is why a sofa this size still feels weightless in a photograph and in person.
The arms curve high and roll inward, meeting a low back that carries four deep white cushions across a full two-metre span. The seat cushion is a single piece rather than three, so there are no gaps to lose things down, and the frame is doubled at the base rails where the load sits.
This is the family sofa of the collection — the one sized for a real living room, in front of a real television, with enough seat depth that nobody has to sit politely upright.
